AURI

Our
STORY
Auri is a boutique Pilates, wellbeing and events studio in Yeadon, bringing together movement, community and meaningful experiences under one roof.
Auri was founded on the belief that movement should feel empowering, sustainable and accessible. We believe exercise should support you, not punish you, and that wellbeing is about more than physical fitness alone.
Our teaching is influenced by APPI training and clinical based Pilates principles, combining expert instruction with a warm, welcoming and contemporary approach. Whether you are completely new to Pilates, returning after injury, navigating pregnancy and motherhood, or simply looking for a place to prioritise your wellbeing, you'll find support, encouragement and expert guidance at Auri.
Alongside our reformer and mat Pilates classes, Auri hosts a growing programme of wellbeing events, workshops, retreats, networking events, corporate wellbeing experiences and private group bookings.
More than a Pilates studio, Auri is a community. A calm, beautifully designed space where movement, connection and wellbeing come together.
Meet Jordan
Jordan is the founder of Auri Pilates and an APPI-trained reformer Pilates instructor with a unique background spanning performance, movement, and artistic development. She is also a lecturer at Leeds Conservatoire, bringing her expertise in movement and creativity into both her teaching and studio design.
Her journey to Pilates came from personal experience. After years of managing chronic health conditions through rehabilitation and intelligent movement support, Jordan witnessed first-hand the profound impact that purposeful, evidence-based movement can have on both physical and mental wellbeing. This experience shaped everything about how she teaches and why she created Auri.
Jordan's teaching style combines her APPI training, globally recognised for its clinical, physio-led qualifications/training approach with warmth, encouragement, and genuine care for every client. She's known for detail-focused instruction that helps people build real confidence and strength, whether they're completely new to reformer Pilates or already experienced movers.
After years working in high-pressure creative and educational environments, Jordan created Auri as a sanctuary where intelligent movement meets calm, considered design. A space where people feel stronger, more connected, genuinely looked after, and genuinely themselves.

Meet
JACKIE
Jackie is Co Founder of Auri Pilates and leads the studio's community, wellbeing and events programme.
Alongside overseeing the day to day running of the studio, Jackie brings more than 30 years of experience in education, mentoring and personal development. Her background in supporting people to build confidence, develop new skills and achieve their potential has helped shape Auri into a welcoming space where everyone feels supported, regardless of age, experience or ability.
Jackie also leads Auri's wider wellbeing offering, including Bowen Technique, gut health programmes and Modern Energy Tapping. Her passion lies in helping people improve their overall wellbeing through a whole person approach that considers both physical and emotional health.
Jackie's background in education has also been instrumental in developing initiatives such as the Teen Reformer Club, creating safe and supportive opportunities for young people to build strength, confidence and positive lifelong habits around movement and wellbeing.
Our instructors
At Auri, our instructors are chosen not just for their qualifications, but for the way they make people feel. Every class is led with care, expertise and a genuine commitment to supporting you, wherever you are in your journey.
We are a growing team, united by a shared belief in inclusive, evidence-based movement that meets you where you are, whether you are a complete beginner, returning after pregnancy, managing a health condition or simply looking for a space where you feel seen and supported.

Reformer Studio
Our main studio is a professional, peaceful space designed for intelligent movement. With multiple reformer beds and carefully considered lighting, it's a calm environment where you can focus entirely on your practice. The exposed beams and soft lighting create an inspiring atmosphere that feels completely different from typical fitness studios.

The Mezzanine Event Space
Upstairs, our mezzanine overlooks the studio below and serves as our community hub. It's where mums gather after postnatal classes, where guests mingle at private events, and where workshops and collaborations come to life. Surrounded by exposed beams and soft lighting, it's a relaxed, welcoming space designed for genuine connection and conversation.

We have dedicated, safe soft play areas throughout the studio including one inside the main reformer studio itself, so babies and young children can play while mums move. Our community lounge upstairs is where you stay after class for complimentary drinks, connect with other people, and feel genuinely part of our community. It's a space designed for real conversation, real friendship, and feeling genuinely looked after.
